Pictures and Possibilities

Hi. This will be a very non-poetical update on what's happening, followed by a series of links to the photos of our wedding and honeymoon, in case some of you haven't yet succumbed to Facebook and the indignity of asking to be my friend in order to see my pictures.

Celestina is interviewing on Tuesday in London for the job of Human Resources Manager for Tearfund in Khartoum. If she is offered it, we will stay on in London until the end of September so she can go to a HR Managers conference. Then, since the job would not begin until December, we would go back to Pakistan until then. If she doesn't get the job, we will go back and find work in Islamabad as planned, arriving there on the 7th of September.

Esti is a bit nervous about the interview. It will be competitive for this post, which is for the largest of Tearfund's programs. Obviously, we'd both like her to get it since it's a bit anxious not to know about work at the end of such a long holiday. They are doing the interview over the phone, as the other candidate is overseas and they want to level the playing field, so that adds another element of difficulty for her. Pray, if you do, that she will be clear and confident.

We know that if it's right it will happen, but still, you can't help the nerves. It would be hard to go back to Islamabad not knowing if we have a job or not.
